How the Business Works
Using our professional Computer Reservation System (CRS) and the Internet you will be able to access a whole host of information regarding airfares, accommodations, package tours, car hire and more. Our portfolio of product includes special interest and unique destinations and your client will be able to make their travel decisions based on the information you provide. You will be responsible for securing payment, (and/or necessary Credit Card authorisations) from your clients, and to confirm documentation as it is made available. The increased use of Electronic Tickets and Electronic payment simplifies the process with a centralised accounting system at our Rockhampton Office.
Specialty Travel will assist with:
- Redirecting inquires to your location
- Access to Computer Reservation System (CRS) including Training
- Access to latest specials and wholesaler information
- Provide Trust Account Banking Facility
- Credit Card Facility (Limitations apply)
- Access to Nett Airfare Database
- List of Supplier Information including Toll Free Numbers
- Brochures on request
- Networking with other associates
- Advertising
- Document Distribution
- Professional Indemnity Insurance

As an Associate, you will:
- Actively seek clients.
- Act with integrity, and offer a professional and informative travel service.
- Collect all monies in association with client travel.
- Operate your own home office (Computer, phone, fax, messagebank).
- Maintain accurate records of Client Documents and Funds.
- Work with Specialty Travel to achieve better outcomes.
- Maintain a ABN, and regularly invoice Specialty Travel.
- At all times remain responsible to the Manager of Specialty Travel.
